A barbeque, A moonlit walk, and howling wolves......!
About 40 minutes drive from Finca Leria, on the road to Antequera, is this fascinating place - Lobo Park (Wolf Park).
Run by wolf lover, Daniel, and his team this unspoilt wildlife park is home to 4 types of wolves - European wolves, Timber wolves, the rare white Alaska Tundra wolves and Iberian wolves.
Almost every day throughout the year guided tours of the park are available, but one of the most fun things to do is to go on a howl night.
Every Friday and Saturday evening from May to October, Daniel's team prepare a barbeque on the terrace, during which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sun setting over El Torcal.
Following the barbeque, you will be taken on a torch lit guided tour of the wolf enclosures. Watch as Daniel 'talks' with the wolves - in their enclosures. And finally, howl along with the wolves as they call out to each other in the moonlight!
