Sevilla
Spectacular. A long day out but Sevilla is one of the most enchanting places in Europe to visit with its old town centre and astonishing atmosphere. Many sights to see here including the Alcazar plance with its ornamental patios, glorious tile-work and sumptuously decorated chambers. Barrio de Santa Cruz, a former jewish Ghetto, is an ancient area of narrow washed alleys and deep-set houses with graceful patios. The cathedral which is the world's largest Gothic structure and third largest cathedral and the Expo site which is on an island to the west of Town. It's a very pretty drive up to Sevilla particularly in the summer with fields full of sunflowers. Ideally we recommend an overnight in Sevilla as it can take up to two hours to drive.
